The Two Important Fatty Acids we test are Omega-6 and Omega-3
Both are essential fatty acids, meaning your body needs them and doesn't make them, and must be consumed in the diet or with supplementation.
Omega-6 is INFLAMMATORY
Omega-3 is ANTI-INFLAMMATORY
A ratio of TOO MUCH Omega-6 to Omega-3 creates SERIOUS health problems and
systemic INFLAMMATION.
Omega-6 has become rampant in the diet due to food processing and the use of seed oils. Most people now consume massive amounts of Omega-6 (17 times more than only three decades ago).
To counteract the harmful effects of seed oils and Omega-6, you must boost your Omega-3 level.
